Cutting bread was supposed to be easy and satisfying. However, it can be annoying and messy to cut the crusty part of bread because it’s often really, really crumbly. So when cutting a loaf of bread, don’t cut the top, do it from the bottom up instead. It’ll prevent the crumbles because the underside of the bread is usually much softer.
Just turn it upside down and cut the bread without getting crumbs all over the place. It makes so much sense, it's shocking more people don't do it this way.
