This Is the End in Normal

It is not clear what is more strange or creepier in this photo. Is it the fact that there is a massive sign that says "The End!" on the wall or is it the fact that this is located in a place called Normal, in Illinois? Should you consider this a warning if you are approaching this area or should you just be thankful that someone told you that this is the end of the road?

This doesn't necessarily have to be a creepy "The End". It could just be a sign that is telling people this is the end of the road or the city....or maybe it is the end of normal.
